The Chilterns Coffee & Brew – 7 Mile Day Hiking
We embark on this hike from the home of hikers and cyclists, Chiltern Velo, a charming wilderness cafe. You can stoke up on fresh coffee/tea and delicious homemade cake in preparation for the trail ahead or save the treat for the return.
As we wind through single-track trails and escarpments, the views of the dramatic rolling hills and farm meadows make this area of the Chilterns countryside exceptional. Just as impressive are the ancient woodlands that The Chilterns is renowned for.
Every step brings us closer to discovering something new – an unexpected clearing with a perfect rest spot or even a majestic hillside overlooking the valley below.

Weather
I operate my hiking tours across all seasons in favour of experiencing the outstanding natural beauty that comes with each season.
I run my adventure trips in all weather conditions. Most of the adventures are outdoors and all planned trips will go ahead regardless of the weather. In the rare situation where the weather makes an adventure trip dangerous or unsafe, I will get in touch to offer you an alternative date.
You just have to be prepared for any weather and I will provide you with a helpful equipment list when you book. After all, there is no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothes!
*Please note: Fee is non-refundable if you cancel within less than 14 days of this trip’s scheduled date. Due to health and safety regulations, a minimum of two participants are required for all hikes and trips. If there is only one participant, alternative dates will be offered, or a full refund will be provided.

Customer reviews
From City Mouse to Mighty Country Mouse
The universe and Algorithms had other ideas and all have played their part in my discovery of the wonderful hiker enthusiast Shameer Shah. I am writing this having gone on a 7 mile walk with the kindest, most engaging tribe of people and we all felt comfortable safe and seen by our wonderful guide Shameer. So why this very long review ….well it’s the backdrop to my call to every curious soul out there. Don’t limit yourself until you’re perfect, instead go out in the world with all your messy baggage. There are people and places to help you reimagine the art of living and Shameer Shah is one of them. Finally in a contrary society which swings from left to right, choose nature which never judges and only presents you with the utopia of a beautiful and blended world. Thank you Shameer Shah.
Perfect Hike in the Chilterns with Great Company
Had an incredible 7-mile hike in the Chilterns with Shameer! The views were stunning, the weather was perfect, and the company was top-notch. Shameer’s enthusiasm and knowledge made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this hike for anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors!
My first hike - 7 miles
My first proper hike in more than a decade and it felt good. Thought i’d bitten off more than I could chew but the great company and stunning views got me through it. Along with Shameer and Neelam listening to me moan a bit about my burning quads and aching feet – but i was very subtly and tactfully encouraged along the way. Shameer has a wealth of knowledge and I thoroughly enjoyed our chats through the course of the trek. I also felt safe and knew I was in good hands. Looking forward to all future treks with Shameer.
Amazing Hike
I am a regular to Shameer’s hikes, which are always amazing. Enjoyed the 7 mile hike on Sunday 28th January
First 7 Mile Hike
I went on my first ever proper hike on Sunday with Shameer. It was my first 7 mile hike and even though I was a bit nervous Shameer made me feel like it was going to be easy and it really was! I loved every bit of it even all the mud! He made it very interesting with facts about the wildlife and the plants and the time flew! I was very pleased with our accomplishment at the end. I am now looking forward to booking my next one!

If you know wilderness in the way that you know love, you would be unwilling to let it go. This is the story of our past and it will be the story of our future.
