The Chilterns Coffee & Brew – 7 Mile Day Hiking

Shameer Shah

We embark on this hike from the home of hikers and cyclists, Chiltern Velo, a charming wilderness cafe. You can stoke up on fresh coffee/tea and delicious homemade cake in preparation for the trail ahead or save the treat for the return.

As we wind through single-track trails and escarpments, the views of the dramatic rolling hills and farm meadows make this area of the Chilterns countryside exceptional. Just as impressive are the ancient woodlands that The Chilterns is renowned for.

Every step brings us closer to discovering something new – an unexpected clearing with a perfect rest spot or even a majestic hillside overlooking the valley below.

Weather

I operate my hiking tours across all seasons in favour of experiencing the outstanding natural beauty that comes with each season.

I run my adventure trips in all weather conditions. Most of the adventures are outdoors and all planned trips will go ahead regardless of the weather. In the rare situation where the weather makes an adventure trip dangerous or unsafe, I will get in touch to offer you an alternative date.

You just have to be prepared for any weather and I will provide you with a helpful equipment list when you book. After all, there is no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothes!

*Please note: Fee is non-refundable if you cancel within less than 14 days of this trip’s scheduled date. Due to health and safety regulations, a minimum of two participants are required for all hikes and trips. If there is only one participant, alternative dates will be offered, or a full refund will be provided.

If you know wilderness in the way that you know love, you would be unwilling to let it go. This is the story of our past and it will be the story of our future.
