I found Shameer while Google searching...

15/09/2025

I found Shameer while Google searching hikes for beginners. I ended up joining a small of hikers one sunny afternoon in the Chiltern Hills. Shameer is a great guide. He knew we were hikers who needed an easy route so that was good. He’s very knowledgeable and friendly. I like the fact he is bringing awareness that hiking, walks in Nature can be easily accessed and working hard to encourage the South Asian community to explore the outdoors more.

Beginners Hike – 5 Mile Day Hike

Shameer Shah

This beginners hike is ideal for those starting out, but also enjoyable for others.

This is a pleasant and leisurely day hike that traverses a variety of natural environments, including a delightful section of stunning ancient forests and woodlands. There is plenty of wildlife to be observed.

The beginners hike also wanders through a mix of paths, bridleways and narrow trails. There are some impressive views along the way, too. Both beginner and intermediate hikers would enjoy this 5 mile day hike.

This beginners hike is the perfect blend of a fun outdoor experience and learning about what hiking in nature is all about.

Highlights

  • Explore spectacular ancient woodlands and forests

Weather

I operate my hiking tours across all seasons in favour of experiencing the outstanding natural beauty that comes with each season.

I run my adventure trips in all weather conditions. Most of the adventures are outdoors and all planned trips will go ahead regardless of the weather. In the rare situation where the weather makes an adventure trip dangerous or unsafe, I will get in touch to offer you an alternative date.

You just have to be prepared for any weather and I will provide you with a helpful equipment list when you book. After all, there is no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothes!

*Please note: Fee is non-refundable if you cancel within less than 14 days of this trip’s scheduled date. Due to health and safety regulations, a minimum of two participants is required for all hikes and trips.
