Forest bathing – The answer to mindful exploration
Forest bathing, originating in Japan, is the practice and a process of relaxation known as Shinrin Yoku. Also, described as “taking in the forest atmosphere”.
Forest bathing is not just for nature lovers or admirers of the outdoors. The practice of forest bathing is for everybody, adults and children, and it is as simple as walking through a forest, woodland or a green space and mindfully exploring your surroundings using all your senses.
