You asked!…. Some of you have messaged me over a few months to ask about what gadgets and gear I carry on hikes and adventures.

I found this quite intriguing in terms of you asking me, and the fact that I often indulge in what tools and devices others use on their adventures. And so, I thought I should make an overview of gadgets and gear I carry on hikes and adventures as a video to share with you.

Basic packing list…

  • Cash / Credit Card

  • Spare change in coins

  • Pen / Notebook (if you like to take notes)

  • Camera / Phone (great picture opportunities)

  • Layered clothing (stay away from cotton in winter)

  • Spare change of clothes (in winter & in case they get wet!)

  • Or bring waterproof jacket / trouser

  • Change of shoes (don’t want a muddy car!)

  • Sunglasses

  • Bottle of water or hydration pack (must keep hydrated)

  • Picnic / Food / Snacks

  • A day pack to carry everything (or hydration pack)
