Giant Redwoods, Rhododendron wood, heavenly scents in the Leith Hill area
This hike is made up of 3 different woodlands starting at the Rhododendron Wood near Leith Hill deep in the Surrey Hills. Absolutely amazing that Caroline Wedgwood, Charles Darwin’s eldest sister created this stunning wood.
The hike starting at the Rhododendron wood and also navigated through Dingwall wood, Leith Hill wood and making up approximately 3.5 miles loop. The Giant Redwoods are beautiful and the Tulip Tree which made it over from the US is thought to be the third largest in England and over 250 years old! This is a superb hike and exploration for the whole family.
