The Blue Pool – England’s alternative to Iceland’s Blue Lagoon & Canada’s Lake Louise

The Blue Pool in the Isle of Purbeck constantly varies in colour. The water diffracts light in various ways, producing a spectrum of colour sometimes green sometimes turquoise. This was one unique and tranquil family hike and a special day out. For me, The Blue Pool is England’s alternative to Iceland’s Blue Lagoon and Canada’s Lake Louise. The Blue Pool in the Isle of Purbeck certainly delivers on the status of being one of the most striking, wilderness icons and spectacle in the UK.
